A contemporary getaway into the country just down the road from JC Le Roux on the Devon Valley Road in Stellenbosch. The journey to the farm along the Devon Valley road is rather long (about 10-15 minutes) and you will pass a smelly dumping tip but once you arrive to the farm, the beautiful scenery welcomes you. De Grendel – Durbanville
Today I visited De Grendel wine farm in Durbanville. The wine tasting room has fantastic decor which is warm and welcoming however getting here is quite an unusual experience. Prepared to get your drivers license and tax disk scanned! I must say that I didn’t like that. De Grendel prides themselves on their Shiraz 2014.
