What you need to know about the Coffee and Chocolate Expo
The Coffee and Chocolate Expo is scheduled to take place at from 14 July to 17 July in Johannesburg. Located at Monte Casino, the 2016 expo promises to be a fun filled day out for the whole family. On Thursday opening times are from 16:00 to 22:00 while the opening times are 10:00 to 22:00 on Friday and Saturday. You can visit the Johannesburg expo between 10:00 and 18:00 on Sunday. An online pre-bought ticket for the Johannesburg expo is priced at R120 which allows you single entrance to the expo for one day. Tickets at the venue will cost you R150.
Between 09 September and 11 September 2016 you can visit the expo in Cape Town. Opening times are 10:00 to 22:00 on Friday and Saturday with a shorter opening time from 10:00 to 18:00 on Sunday. The venue for Cape Town is the Green Point Cricket Club. Online pre-bought tickets for the Cape Town Expo are priced at R100 for single entrance on one day of the expo. Tickets at the door will cost you R120.

You can see state-of-the-art coffee machines in action and learn how to make a premium cup of coffee. Cultivate your taste buds by sampling top quality coffees. The Daily News Experience is perfect for visitors with a sweet tooth. A highlight of this section is the Chocolate Workshop which is sponsored by Beyers Chocolate. Sit back, relax and learn more about chocolate with talented chefs. This is your opportunity to learn more about the current chocolate trends. If you want to join the Chocolate Workshop, you will need to book your spot by paying an additional fee. Aspiring Baristas should participate in the Barista Experience. If you don’t fancy getting involved you can watch up and coming talent to learn more about making the best cup of coffee. Latte Art pouring is also part of the Barista Experience.
Don’t miss out on some of South Africa’s talented artists. Visit the Cocoa Mocca music lounge in Johannesburg to watch exciting live performances by Gangs of Ballet and Monark.
